Managers:

The Major Divisions of the MLK Super NIT rained out on Feb. 27/28  will be made up on Saturday March 20 and Sunday March 21. Games will be either at Mile Square Park in Fountain Valley or the Huntington Beach Sports Park in Huntington beach. The 14U will be at Big League Dreams West Covina.

Only teams that were committed to playing in the Feb. 27/28 make up are eligible to play in the March 20/21 make up tournament.

1)  Game times will be available on Wednesday, March 17 after 9:00.  Whenever possible all games will be made up, including suspended games. In divisions with pool play games still to be played, those will be played first and then playoff games. If possible, pool play will be concluded on Saturday, seedings posted Saturday night and playoff games on Sunday.

3)      Game times and opponents may change. Playoff formats will be adjusted  depending on how many teams return. An entirely new schedule will be posted on Wednesday, March 17.

4)      Teams must play with the same roster that was handed in at check in on Jan 16. Players that were on the roster handed in at check in, but did not play the first weekend are eligible. No additions to the roster will be allowed – please don’t ask.

 5)      Save your pitching log from Jan. 16/17. You will use the same pitching log and all pitching will carry over from the first weekend of the tournament.

Please confirm with Julie Gleason whether you are playing in the make up or not  by contacting her at Julie@baseballfirst.com.  Please confirm either way as we will have a updated list of confirmed teams on the website. Send all e-mails to Julie, do not send confirmations to Craig or John. We need a confirmation of whether you are playing or not by Friday, March 12. IF YOU DO NOT CONFIRM ,WE WILL ASSUME YOU ARE NOT PLAYING.

In the event a team can’t play in the make up, no refunds or credits will be given if your tournament is completed with the following exception. Northern California, Arizona or Nevada teams that can’t play the make up will receive a refund based on the number of games they played prior to the rainout. The amount of the refunds is posted on the www.baseballfirst.com website.

With an Elite berth at stake, we are doing everything we can to complete this tournament and we will do our best to make it as fair as possible. However, schedules will change and decisions will have to be made that you may not agree with. We reserve the right to do whatever is necessary to complete the tournament. NO TIME REQUESTS CAN BE TAKEN. We have already inputted the results of the games played into the USSSA website. The standings posted on that website are not official and are not the seedings of the tournament. All game schedules will be posted on www.baseballfirst.com
