Dear Managers:
Here are a few reminders:
Welcome to Bat Wars 08. All teams playing in Chino
Hills & Riverside are welcome to come to West Covina and
participate in the demo day that will be going on there on Saturday
only. Awards will be provided by manufacturers.
1. All teams must check in 1 hour prior to your first game at the
park that your first game is at.
2. You will need to turn in your roster
with parent's signatures. You need to put a roster
online at www.usssa.com.
For information for putting a roster online,
click here. All players that are going to play this
weekend must be on the roster that you hand in. No
additions will be allowed during the weekend.
3. You must show copies of your player's birth
certificates.
4. USSSA So California and Big
League Dreams have a 0 tolerance policy on manager, coach, and
parent behavior. Everyone is expected to conduct themselves
with the highest degree of sportsmanship. Any extended verbal
abuse, physical abuse or threat of physical abuse of an umpire
or tournament official will result in ejection from the park
for the weekend and possible suspension from USSSA.
Managers must have control of their coaches, players, fans and
themselves at all times
5. We are playing
at 2008 league ages and the May 1st,
2008 age cutoff. However, all teams must be registered for
2008 at their 2008 age.
6. DON'T FORGET TO RE VERIFY
BRACKETS EVERY DAY THIS WEEK IN CASE OF CHANGES! This is your
teams responsibility!
7. Playoff seedings
will be available at 951-693-0541. Remember
that seedings cannot be posted until the last game of your
division has been played.
8. Make sure that
you read the rules page. These will also be given to you
in your team packet. Ask the site director if you are not sure
of something.
9. Brackets will not
be changed unless a mistake has been made by the tournament director.

10. In the event of
inclement weather, please call the tournament hotlines at
951-693-0541. If needed, weather updates will also be posted on
www.baseballfirst.com
beginning at 3:00 Pm Friday.

No steel cleats in
divisions 12U and below. No exceptions.
12) All Southern California teams must have proof of 2008 insurance.
13) Please note effective
April 1 the top 25% of the teams in the tournament will have their
rosters frozen.
